Dear Mr Davies,
I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act (2000). In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible. If however this request is too wide or too unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the act, you are required to advise and assist requesters.
Standard written advice given to all governors at St Matthew's School in relation to a governor's duties and responsibilities.
Minutes from all governors' meetings where proposed introduction of Junior Librarian system in St Matthew's School was discussed and decided.
Legal advice received from the Local Authority in respect of the thumbprinting part of Junior Librarian (Identikit module).
I understand that under the act, I should be entitled to a response within 20 working days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
I also look forward to receiving a comprehensive reply to the points raised in my letter dated 10th June 2006, both from yourself and the Chair of Governors Tim Steel, at your earliest convenience.
